Flame Makers

On the day volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Flame 2027. If you have been to Flame before, you will know how vital the volunteers are to provide a warm welcome to the groups arriving at OVO Arena Wembley from across the country, as well as in many practical ways, front of house and backstage.

To become a “Flame Maker” you simply need to meet these criteria:

  1.  Your 18th birthday was on or before 31st August 2026
  2.  You are no more than 35 years old on 15th March 2027
  3.  You are known to a CYMFed Member Organisation (i.e. a Diocese in England and Wales, or a Religious Order, Movement or Organisation that is an accredited member of CYMFed). If you are not sure about this, there is more detail as you begin to fill in the form
  4.  You are available for two Zoom meetings between October 2026 and February 2027 (More details to follow)
  5. You are available for a training day in London on the 11th or 12th January 2027 (exact date to be confirmed).
  6.  You are available for the full day of Flame, from 07.00 to 19.00 on 6th March 2027 (and ideally also available from 15.00 on Friday 5th March).

These criteria are non-negotiable; if you do not meet them, please do not send in an application. If you are eligible, then the application form should not take more than three minutes to complete, and we very much look forward to welcoming you as a Flame Maker.
